New for 2026! One roll of 35mm is now included in all packages

There is something truly magical about film wedding photography in Cornwall * — its rawness, its depth, the way colours shift with different film stocks and how they respond to different light. There’s a beautiful spontaneity that comes with shooting on fun, retro cameras, balanced by the intentional slow-down when you know you only have a limited number of frames. I love the uniqueness and nostalgia that film brings.

My journey into photography began in the darkroom, and I’ve always enjoyed experimenting with different cameras. I shoot film on my holidays, and I have grown a collection of retro compact cameras that I never leave home without. Recently, I took my Canon 3 on a trip to Malta — I loved shooting with it, even if carrying it around was another story!

And so with that, I am bringing film back for 2026! Every wedding and elopment package now includes a roll of 35mm film, shot throughout your day. Digital will always be the priority in capturing your wedding, but adding some fun film images will give you back just a little something extra to add to your memory collection.

This is not film-purist-Hasselblad-wielding wedding photography! This is for fun and joy! I'll be using some of my retro cameras to create some unique images for your day, and your film will be developed by a local, independent Newquay photo lab, so we will be supporting a small business too!
