Oh my! Katie and Nic had the most beautiful Winter wedding at Wasing Park and I got to hang out with them again just the other day! Easily one of the best parts of being a wedding photographer are the new friends you make and how special it is to see your couples and their families again… whether it is for a family shoot down the line or perhaps at wedding a few years later (hello Nikki & Chris 😉 ) and it is always amazing and such a joyous, wonderful and also humbling reminder of how lucky I am to do what I do.

Hands down winter weddings are always incredible. The day isn’t planned so much around the weather, there is never a plan B or C because you only plan for one thing… it’s probably going to be cold… so everything is prioritised for that without any disappointment. Then, when you are absolutely blessed with some unique weather, it’s a bonus!

Misty was the day that Katie and Nic got married… I remember driving up the lane to Wasing Park and being so inspired by how beautiful it all looked. Ever moment from there on in was perfect. Katie and Nic created the most fun day that was nothing short of stunning. These two make me proper belly laugh. They laugh so hard with one another and love to have fun. Seeing them again a few days ago bought so much of their lovely day back to me and I have smiled my way through looking back at their images.

It’s taken me so long to blog again. In fact I forgot how to do it and its taken me a ridiculously long time, and a few false starts, to get this blog post up, I had to re-teach myself how and I am so glad that I have.
