Tubestation Polzeath Wedding & Longcross Hotel | Tim & Grace
Where to start with the lovely Tim and Grace and their magical, Cornish seaside Tubestation Polzeath wedding? I was so, so excited for what was ahead for them as I drove from Newquay to Polzeath the morning of their day. As I arrived at their accommodation, Grace was getting ready amongst family and friends and there was such a sense of calm. From the moment I walked in off he buzz of the seaside town’s street, you could just sense the magic that lay ahead.
Tim and Grace wanted a wedding that reflected them and their relationship and brought together their lovely family and friends in a favourite spot in Cornwall. They chose two incredible places to host their day. The contemporary, forward thinking and youthful Tubestation church for their marriage and the beautiful Longcross Hotel, with it’s views across the Cornish fields to the Atlantic ocean, for their reception.
There is something quite special about a Tubestation Polzeath wedding. A church-come-cafe-come-skate ramp that overlooks the beautiful village of Polzeath on the North Cornwall coast. Yes. A skate ramp.
Now imagine a skate ramp IN a church. And not just any skate ramp, a half pipe that is also the church pulpit. Seriously, this is my kind of church. Young, contemporary and community driven, full of fresh ideas and absolutely buzzing with energy.
It was a perfect place for a beach loving pair who wanted to get married in a completely personal way. Surrounded by their loved ones, Tim and Grace tied the knot in this magical space and their ceremony and then it was off, via a walk on the beach to the beautiful Longcross Hotel in Trelights, just up the road for the party.
Apart from a brief shower which cleared the skies for a stunning evening, the weather sent its best for Tim and Grace. It was a beautiful day of festivities, Cornish sunshine, music, fun times, a beautiful sunset and very special memories that were made, all on a glorious day in September.
