The beautiful day two of Seth and Rachel’s stunning Tremenheere Sculpture Gardens Wedding and I cannot wait to share this with you. Colour, loads of smiles, heartfelt speeches, bright flowers, dancing, woodland fairies and all in an incredible setting… happy days!
The day started off meeting up with Seth and his groomsmen at the pub in the busting town of Newlyn. A nerve calmer drink for the boys and a bit of banter before they headed off to the Gardens.
While Seth enjoyed a pint with the guys at a favourite spot, Rachel got ready at the amazing Old Coastguard Hotel. The girls were calm but excited when I arrived, doing their makeup and getting the last of their prep done. Rachel had chosen a spectacular vintage inspired dress from Hope & Harlequin and her flowers from The Cornish Bunch were out of this world. Their girls chatted and got ready with the beautiful view of the sea in front of them.
I arrived at Tremenheere Sculpture Gardens to find Seth and their guests ready to walk to the ceremony spot. After a gathering everyone together we wandered slowly through the gardens and woodlands to the sounds of an Accordion being played for us, to the open grassy hill area that they had chosen for their outdoor humanist ceremony. Guests took their seats on blankets while a slightly nervous Seth watched the clouds for rain, which thankfully held off!
The girls arrived soon after and as they walked through the woody paths at Tremenheere, they looked like magical faeries, chatting and giggling as they went. You could literally feel the excitement in the air and the guests expression as they came through the trees was gorgeous. Having done the legal ceremony the day before Rachel and Seth opted for a Humanist outdoor ceremony which all their friends took part in. Singing, readings and playing music, plenty of laughing and beautiful vows. We wandered to the top of the Turrell Skyspace for an afternoon reception and them back down through the trees, taking in the views of St Michaels Mount, to the marquee for food, music and an afternoon and evening of celebrations. The Tinners Ceilidh band started the party to a riot of dancing and set the tone to a magical evening that went on until late.
It was a true privilege to capture such a gorgeous couple’s unique day. To be surrounded by so much love and happiness, this is truly a wedding I will hold close to my heart forever.
