Late last Spring, the lovely Jade and Tom were married in beautiful Mylor here in Cornwall and their Scorrier House Wedding. They chose to get married in the very same church Jade was baptised as a little one, the lovely St Mylor Church, a gorgeous old building that dates all the way back to Norman times, right by the sea.

Jade looked incredible, choosing to wear her Mum’s wedding dress which she had slightly altered to personalise for her. I loved that she chose her Mum’s dress, keeping it close to her heart and the proud look on her dads face when he saw her was gorgeous! Her dress was originally custom made for Jade’s mum in Australia and she wore it when she married Jade’s Dad in Papua New Guinea!

They held their reception at the wonderfully relaxed, Scorrier House Wedding venue. A beautiful home that allows you to have a wedding that feels like a wonderful house party as guests can amble through the rooms and chill in the gardens and conservatories while horses munch on the grass out the window.

Every part of their day was incredibly romantic and their vision of a Midsommers Nights Dream was helped to come to life by some amazing experts…  Jessie Thomson helped coordinate their day for them and was on hand through the whole day to keep things flowing smoothly for them. Their flowers were by the very talented Westwood Design and their amazing cakes made by Cornish based The Natural Cake Company and styling pieces hired through Inspire Hire.

I was lucky enough to work alongside one of my closest friends on their wedding, having the lovely Sarah Falugo along to help me second shoot on the day. Sarah covered Tom’s groom prep and was a superstar all day!
