You may not believe it but I don’t always shoot weddings on the beach but when I do they are always epic and Alyssa and Philipp’s wedding was incredible in every single way. An intimate Headland Hotel wedding and beach ceremony is always going to be a winner for me but add to that; said beach ceremony taking place on lovely, secluded Little Fistral (my favourite beach in Newquay) that turned into a cave ceremony when the rains came over the sea and sent us all running for shelter. A hand fasting led by Nicola of Cornish Celebrants who I just adore, a bare foot Grace Loves Lace bride and seasonal flowers by Zennor Wild and the gorgeous Ione helping Alyssa with hair and make up for some extra special pampering. Bliss! With it all, at the very heart of the day, all an amazing group of friends and family who were there to celebrate the coming together of a couple who so clearly adore one another, who love to say yes and who embrace wholeheartedly everything that comes their way.
Wrap it everything up and I am the luckiest photographer ever.
What an utter joy to be a part of Philipp and Alyssa’s intimate, slightly wild weathered and extremely romantic wedding. Filled with so much fun, adventure and love, three words that I saw as the absolute center of these two beautiful souls.
And (another) fabulous bit? I bump into them so often when they are down surfing in Newquay, so I get to see them again and again and again!
