A little journey to the magical BoHo Cornwall today and the beautiful elopement of Rebecca and Walter.
In early June, Rebecca and Walter and their close family travelled down to Cornwall for a beautiful, intimate marriage ceremony. They had planned their day for some time and I was so looking forward to watching this special pair tie the knot. The beauty of eloping is that you can have it exactly as you want. You can choose to have no frills and keep things simple, or add in a few special details that make your day truly yours. Rebecca and Walter did both. They planned a lovely day that was simple and elegant and just for them but filled with special details that personalised their celebrations, including lovely florals by Wheal Sara Flowers. They wanted their immediate family around them and while they stayed at BoHo Cornwall, their family stayed in nearby St Ives, joining them for their ceremony and then after in St Ives for a celebratory dinner.
They even hired the lovely Teapot for their day from St Ives Bay Campers, to travel the country roads from St Just to St Ives where we ventured to for they photo shoot. St Ives is one of my most favourite places in the world and it is there, at the little Chapel on The Island that Walter proposed to Rebecca. So it was an absolute given we would go there for photos after. It truly was a magical day!
